February 27, 2018: Keiauna Davis was shot and killed in Pittsburcg. Police say that the thieves #MURDERED her for her #TAX #RETURN #money.
According to a criminal complaint, Keiauna left work with her tax return money – and was followed by a Toyota Corolla, driven by suspects Dane Taylor and Kaijin Scott.
Police say Dane and Kaijin pulled the car in front of Keiauna. The two suspects allegedly jumped out and tried to rob Keiauna.
A struggle ensued, and several gunshots were fired of which one struck Keiauna.
Dane then, according to the complaint, stole the purse and cellphone from a dying Keiauna and returned to the car.
The suspects allegedly kept the phone, and an inside the purse which contained Keiauna tax money. The purse was tossed out of the vehicle before the suspects allegedly both fled the scene in the vehicle.
Laya Alana Whitley, 21, Kaijin Xavier Scott, 23, and Dane James Taylor, 21, are charged with criminal homicide, robbery and conspiracy. Taylor also is charged with carrying a firearm without a license.
